Court orders DMV to pay
attorneys' fees after finding that
agency's conduct was arbitrary and capricious

Having previously obtained a peremptory writ of mandate ordering the DMV to set aside its decision, G&P's success against the Department continued today when the Court awarded attorneys' fees in connection with the matter.  The Court awarded fees after G&P attorneys established that the DMV's actions were "arbitrary and capricious," an especially difficult standard to meet under the law.
