• G&P lawyer Christopher Pitet has been a named a "Rising Star" for 2008 by Law and Politics Magazine.  Only 5% of lawyers under 40 are given this honor.  This is the third time Mr. Pitet has received this honor.   (June 2008)

• G&P obtained a complete victory in federal court for a leading international distributor of music.  (May 2008).

• G&P obtained  significant victory in Ahmadi-Kashani v. Regents of the University of California.  To read a copy of the published opinion, click here.   (April 2008).

• G&P obtained another victory in the Court of Appeal in the matter of Ahmadi-Kashani v. The Regents of the University of California.  In the decision, the Court ruled that a plaintiff bringing claims under the Fair Employment and Housing Act is not required to exhaust internal remedies under the doctrine of exhaustion of administrative remedies.  To read the opinion, click here.  (February 2008)

• G&P obtains a complete victory for a client at arbitration.  (January 2008).

• G&P obtained a key victory for the majority shareholders of Avantra Real Estate Services, Inc.  After an arbitrator ruled that the shareholders had agreed to arbitrate, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled after extensive briefing and evidentiary hearings that no such agreement existed.  (November 2007)
