Michael J. Grobaty
Michael J. Grobaty has been a trial attorney in Orange County for almost twenty years. He is a 1983 graduate of Loyola Marymount University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 1986, Mr. Grobaty began private practice after receiving a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. While at Loyola Law School, he was selected to the Loyola Entertainment Law Journal, and published an article which analyzed issues relating to interplay between cable television and the First Amendment.
Mr. Grobaty’s civil trial practice focuses on employment, professional liability, and complex business litigation. He has achieved numerous favorable trial verdicts on behalf of his clients, who range from individuals and small businesses to large, multinational corporations. His defense verdicts in the area of legal malpractice have led many of the area’s finest attorneys to seek Mr. Grobaty’s representation when they have been personally faced with serious legal issues. From 2005 to 2008, Los Angeles Magazine named Mr. Grobaty as a Southern California Superlawyer, an honor bestowed upon only the top 5% of all lawyers in California.
In addition to his legal accomplishments, Mr. Grobaty is extremely active in the Orange County community. He is a member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Knights of Columbus.
